On Site audio is a fully mobile recording studio capable of delivering adaptable configurations according to clients' needs and goals. We travel to you and work with you in the environment you create in: your rehearsal space, kitchen, backyard, live gig, studio…wherever.

In addition to a one of a kind collection of traditional microphones we have a small but growing collection of specialized microphone transducers, such as proboscis / insertion mics and contact mic/piezos for registering vibrational audio through a solid medium.
Our recording gear is time-sync capable and ready to capture audio for your video shoot.
On Site uses a variety of microphone transducers, including CAD mics with selectable cardioid patterns (omni, directional, hypercardioid, figure 8), Rode and Audio Technica matched stereo pair condenser mics, GLS clones of SM 57 & SM 58 (circuit specs of higher quality than current production runs of 57 & 58 from SURE) and hyper-sensitive/directional Pyle Audio analysis mics, which can function for close mic'-ing of instruments, voice, or as boundary mics to capture reverberation impulse responses in small acoustic spaces.
We also have a number of one of a kind microphones rebuilt with circuit schematics from Neumann. Capture devices include a Zoom Audio H8n handheld and F4 field recorder. We also employ a Cymatics 16 channel, live multi-track capture interface. We are perfectly able to do additional overdubbing and rough mixing (in Reaper) as required by the client at additional and competitive cost.
